What does the one-year Diploma in Offshore Safety provide?
Green World Group has initiated ‘Diploma in Offshore Safety,’ a government recognized safety program that focuses on occupational safety and related issues with respect to offshore work environment.
The methodology used for training, including content and curriculum, is meticulously designed to cater to the needs and understanding of international students and workers at different stages of their career. Diploma in Offshore Safety is a one year program which includes the topics such as Offshore Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Prevention and Safety and Basic Safety Engineering. The diploma course is a specialized qualification for those who are working or aspire to begin their career in offshore oil and gas industry and aspire to be associated with maintaining the safety standard at work places as part of their daily routine.
How will I be assessed?
You need to clear four theory papers and a practical assessment:
PAPER I – BASIC SAFETY ENGINEERING
PAPER 2 – OCCUPATION HEALTH AND SAFETY
PAPER 3 – FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL
PAPER 4 – OFF SHORE SAFETY.
What are the durations of the exams?
Paper I & Paper 2 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks
Paper 3 & Paper 4 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks
Seminar on Diploma in Offshore Safety
Green World Group’s Diploma in Offshore Safety conducts a 12-day workshop session for interested candidates, who will be charged an extra fee to attend the seminar (not mandatory) at GWG, UAE.
Facilities are provided for students to get in touch with experts on respective fields on all working days to clear their doubts, if any, through a specified mode of communications such as e-mails or phones.
Will the course material be provided?
All the course materials are of international standard and also published by Green World Group. Students can get the access to the study needs, which are also approved by the federal government of India.
Certifications at the end of the course
Within one month from the date of announcement of results, candidates, who successfully complete the course, will get their certification. All certificates & mark lists are given through Central Board of Examination & National Development agency, Government of India. To promote rankers, the institute also issues separate certificates for those who achieved distinction and first class in their final exams.
Fee for Diploma in Offshore Safety
There won’t be any separate fee for course materials, examination fee or administration fee as the management charges all inclusive course fee for Diploma in Offshore Safety.
