What does the one-year course offer?

Diploma in Industrial Safety is a program initiated by the Government of India. The main objective of this programme is to enhance knowledge, skills and awareness among the students in the field of Industrial related safety, health and environment. Diploma in Industrial Safety aims at minimizing the chances of risks, injuries and accidents by implementing Risk management techniques and safety management operations, improving the standard of health of the employees, monitoring the operating systems and bolstering the safety measures of an industry in general. With the rise of natural disasters in and around our world, the importance of the safety of human capital, protection of the environment and conservation of existing assets of an industry is increasing, leading to growing relevance of skills in Industrial Safety.

Diploma in Industrial Safety is a one-year training program recognized by the Government of India. The objective of this course offered by Green World Group, is to increment the awareness, skills and knowledge among students in safety, health and environment issues in their work places.

Diploma in Industrial Safety aims to reduce the chances of injuries, risks and accidents by following risk and safety management techniques and also by improving the standard of employees’ health, constantly monitoring the operations and improving the safety measures.

With number of disasters increasing every year, the need for protecting human capital, saving environment and preserving the existing industry assets has gained increasing importance and also the skills on industrial safety.

How will I be assessed?

You need to clear six theory papers namely:

• PAPER I – OCCUPATION HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
• PAPER 2 – SAFETY & SECURITY MANAGEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL PLANTS
• PAPER 3 – ORGANIZATION, ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY AND LEGAL ASPECTS
• PAPER 4 – HAZARDS AND IMPLEMENTATIONS OF SAFE WORKING PRACTICES
• PAPER 5 – INDUSTRIAL SAFETY AND RISK ANALYSIS & RISK MANAGEMENT
• PAPER 6 – SAFETY MANAGEMENT OF PLANTS DURING COMMISSIONING AND MAINTENANCE

What are the durations of the exams?

• Paper 1, 2 & 3 combined: 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks
• Paper 4, 5 & 6 combined: 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks

Seminar on Diploma in Industrial safety

GWG may organize a twelve-day seminar, only after getting considerable number of enrolments for the session. Though not mandatory to attend, a prescribed fee will be charged from students who wish to enroll for the seminar.

Students can take the help of the panel of tutors on all working days to clear their doubts in the subjects concerned through proper mode of communication.

Will the course material be provided?

Approved by government of India, students can avail the international standard course material .

Certification

Candidates will receive certificates within one month from the date of announcement of result. Certificate & mark list are issued by Central Board of Examination & National Development Agency, a Government of India enterprise. Those who secured distinction and first class will be issued separate certificates.

Fee Structure for Diploma in Industrial Safety

The course fee for Diploma in Industrial safety includes course materials, administration fee and examination fee.
