Diploma in Environmental Safety Engineering, offered at Green World Group, is an internationally recognized qualification aimed at creating occupational safety professionals who take care of environmental issues at workplaces.
Today’s environment is largely affected by industrial pollutions of various forms. Be it chemical, poisonous and hazardous materials or other types of dangerous effluents and gases, the Diploma in Environmental Safety focuses on international safety standards and practices to create safe and secure work environment for workers and also educate the participants the ways and means of protecting the environment from all types of pollutions.
Course Overview
The one-year diploma programme is formulated to educate students of various functions and responsibilities of safety experts who deal with issues related to workplace environment safety. The course curriculum also includes pollution control laws for industries, health risks due to handling of hazardous materials, preventive measures, environment safety management and emergency handling skills.
The course makes the candidates eligible to practice as independent environmental safety professionals in any industry around the world. The participants are trained to manage any crisis situation, manage workers’ health and safety, device safety procedures to protect workers and environment and create awareness among people on safe and healthy work environment.
At the end of the course, students should write four theory papers along with one practical exam which will be assessed by a panel of safety and health professionals.
Examination
Candidates should attend ten compulsory questions for each of paper 1 and paper 2 within two hours with each question carries ten marks. Similarly, they have to answer 10 questions for paper 3 and paper 4 also, with each carrying same distribution of marks.
FAQ
Are there any Seminar session on Environmental Safety?
Students are offered a twelve-day non-compulsory seminar within their course period. The seminar, which carries extra fee for attendance, will be held at GWG Business Center, India only when there will be a minimum number of enrollments.
Will course material be provided?
Standard and relevant course materials, which are made by a panel of experts, will be made available to all the participants. These course materials are approved by the government of India.
Diploma certificates
All passing out students will be provided with certification and mark sheets within 30 days from the date of declaration of results by the Central Board of Examination and National Development agency, Government of India. Merit certifications will be given to those who secured distinction and first class.
